The Shakinah Dance crew was launched and is primarily supported by Living Waters Ministries in Cairns. Living Waters provides a stable base on which the Shakinah Dance Crew can build and potentially increase.

Shakinah receives most of it's support and funding directly from Living Waters Christian Churches and is proud to be involved with the expansion of God's Kingdom.

The Shakinah Dance crew exists to create anointed dances and compelling dramas designed to Inspire, Influence and challenge people from all walks of life. Our unshakable dance crew pursues a dance intended to stamp out injustice and bring the hope of glory to every platform we embrace.

The Shakinah Dance Crew 'End of Year' performance aims to assist in family reconnection and family entertainment, to build self confidence and esteem by providing a new purpose for life, discovering new talents through peer mentoring, impartation of leadership skills and communication skills. We promote and provide a safe learning environment whilst also promoting a drug and alcohol free lifestyle. 

Shakinah has actively been involved in a number of projects all with the aim of raising funding for various charities or local awareness. Shakinah Dance Crew has been involved in community events such as: The Tsunami Concert Appeal, The Mooroobool community Centre, Carnival on Collins, 2005 Peace Week, Reclaim the Night, Jumba Jimba Gallery Opening, Youth Aflame Outreach and Living Waters Evangelism Nights. Recently Shakinah Dance crew has been involved in youth activities aligned with the Living Waters Crusades for All Nations in the Torres Straight Islands.

All sponsorship received by the Shakinah Dance Crew will not go unnoticed. Funds received will go towards covering stage production, advertising, materials required for costumes, props, stage design, venue hire for dance rehearsals and performances, sound and lighting hire. The Shakinah Dance Crew is a non-profit group and we rely heavily on support from the public, local businesses and our church. Any funding you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

The Shakinah Dance Crew will acknowledge any support received whether funding or otherwise, on all promotional materials and resources throughout our campaign period. Sponsors will also have mention through advertising at the events within the local community and on any community radio, newspapers or TV announcements. A big screen will be erected at our main events and sponsors will have their names/logos displayed for public awareness.

With the creation of the Shakinah website we now have the ability to provide direct links to sponsor's web sites and to display their corporate logo's.
