To ensure your time at Shakinah is relaxed and enjoyable, here is some essential information about us to know ahead of your visit. 

Shakinah is a respectful and ethical company. Your safety, dignity and wellbeing are of most importance to us and we will do out best to ensure you enjoy a completely relaxing and transforming experience while you are with us.  

Making an Appointment 

Appointments are by prior arrangement only. To secure your reservation, a 100% deposit is required. To make a booking, please call 0447 100 085. 

Choosing Treatments

Our dedicated, qualified therapist will assist you in selecting the therapies best suited to your needs. We are committed to delivering a unique, personalised experience, so each appointment includes a thorough consultation to determine which Shakinah essences we custom blend to your specifications. 

Your Comfort and Privacy

We respect your privacy and want your experience to be the best it can be. Our fully qualified therapist is trained in proper draping techniques so you should always feel comfortable.  

Age Considerations 

We welcome appointments for children from seven years, tweens and teenagers, as they can also benefit from our therapies. The Dolphin Love Healing therapy is specifically designed for this age group. We ask that an adult accompanies clients under the age of 16 in the same room for the treatment duration. We suggest adults bring appropriate undergarments for young adults, such as board shorts, swimmers and/or singlets, so your child may feel comfortable during treatment.  

Arrival 

We ask that you please arrive at least 15 minutes before your treatment, so that you have time to fill out our client information form, enjoy a complimentary herbal tea and relax, to get the most from your experience with us. If you arrive late, we may have to reduce your treatment time, depending on other bookings.  

Cancellation Policy

We understand that your schedule can change; however, as we reserved a treatment time just for you, we require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. In the instance of a ‘no-show’ or when less than 24 hours’ notice is given, 100% of the treatment cost will be charged. 

Location and Parking

Shakinah’s invigoration space is located in stunning bushland at 223 Prince Edward Park Road (access via Severn Road), Woronora, NSW, 2232 and is situated at the lower level of a three-storey home overlooking the Woronora River.

Parking is available on our premises. 

Gift Certificate

A Shakinah treatment is a beautiful gift for a loved one, and we have gift certificate available for purchase at our premises before or after your treatment, by phone or online at www.shakinah.com.au

Mobile Phone Policy

To ensure you are fully present and get the most from your treatment, we ask that you set your mobile phone to silent.

Please advise us if you have any pre-existing conditions that may affect your treatment.
